New Feature – Voicemail Transcriptions for All Customers

We’re excited to add a small new feature, that’s been a big request over the years… Voicemail Transcriptions! Now available for all customer free of charge on all plans, you can now get instant Voicemail messages typed out for you just after being left. We’ll still include the recording file of course, but you’ll now find a new “Transcription” section in our email notifications. (and Voicemail App in Voice Platform too!)

To activate, simply login to Voice Platform and enable transcribe in your SmartPBX’s User settings or in Call Flows Advanced under Voicemail Boxes.

One of the things I’ve learned while stuck inside during this difficult time is how much I miss seeing our teammates, partners, and family. I’ve grown to live and work by video calling, and the experience is universally poor- whether it’s connection issues, quality issues, or just ease of use. New Two Factor Authentication Available to All Customers

We take security and privacy seriously, as anyone you trust your data and communications with. This week we made a big change with Two Factor Authentification now enabled for all customers.

First, what is Two Factor Authentification you may ask? Similar to your bank and other services, you may notice that they require an extra step separate from you and them to login. Most often, that extra step is a text your mobile phone with a code required to access your account. This step protects you because it adds a second factor to be approved for access.

This security enhancement keeps you safer from someone accessing your account without your knowledge. If you get Two Factor notifications without requesting, this is an indication someone is trying to access your account. To protect our customers, and keep our security in line with modern standards, we’ve brought this security feature to all of our customers.

Enrolling in Two Factor Authentication is easy and free. The next time you log in, you’ll be asked to enroll a personal number (like a mobile phone) to receive a call or text when you access your account. We’ll then send you a one-time code via call or message, and you’ll enter on our portal when prompted. You can also choose not to be prompted for 30 days too.

Last month we launched our all-new Bill Center with detailed invoices. With the goal to simplify phone billing and billable usage in mind, this has become a big change from how we’ve billed in the past. Customer feedback has been great, and we’ve been tweaking things since launch to improve the experience. In its first month, we’ve noted a few customer’s most frequently asked questions and thought it be worth mentioning again here:
