We take security and privacy seriously, as anyone you trust your data and communications with. This week we made a big change with Two Factor Authentification now enabled for all customers.
First, what is Two Factor Authentification you may ask? Similar to your bank and other services, you may notice that they require an extra step separate from you and them to login. Most often, that extra step is a text your mobile phone with a code required to access your account. This step protects you because it adds a second factor to be approved for access.
This security enhancement keeps you safer from someone accessing your account without your knowledge. If you get Two Factor notifications without requesting, this is an indication someone is trying to access your account. To protect our customers, and keep our security in line with modern standards, we’ve brought this security feature to all of our customers.
Enrolling in Two Factor Authentication is easy and free. The next time you log in, you’ll be asked to enroll a personal number (like a mobile phone) to receive a call or text when you access your account. We’ll then send you a one-time code via call or message, and you’ll enter on our portal when prompted. You can also choose not to be prompted for 30 days too.
